A Word From the Chief Editor's Desk
Abstract
John Keats was so unequivocal when he said
“Beauty is Truth, Truth Beauty
That is all ye know on Earth
And all ye need to know”, thus complimenting the physical world
and augmenting the mental make-up of mankind to go in search of
Beauty and Truth, the essential features of human uplift. Expressing
oneself beautifully and truthfully, one can send signals that will go a
long way to enrich posterity.
It is well nigh imperative to point out the fact that educational scenario
largely depends on vocal presentation and written as well. Willy-nilly,
teachers have to concretise themselves in class rooms; in like manner,
their written documents too would manifest themselves and would
obviously present their multifaceted ideas, ideals and ideologies. It is no
gainsaying that their publication becomes a potential feature and to be
precise, publication has become the sine quo non for the academics.
Here lies in your hands the first volume of TJELLS, an online as well
as a printed organ for voicing out the personality of individuals through
their oeuvres. In fact, the present volume places on record three articles
on language studies, six articles of critical studies and two poems; Lilly
Golda, Beulah Catherine and Vasuki have delved deeper into different
aspects of language modules; Jenitha and Serene Sathya have displayed
their creative mind through their poems; Chellamuthu, John Peter
Joseph, Anita Albert, Nirmaldasan, Jenifa Kiruba Malar and
Balashanmuga Devi have critically voiced out their views on the writers
of their choice basing relevant critical theories for their arguments.
All good wishes to those who made TJELLS a possibility. My special
wishes to Beneson for his commitment in bringing out this volume. May
TJELLS witness the glory of multi – dimensional expressions of the
mind and the matter.
